The Leonardo da Vinci Collection

Hi there

Due to personal and family reasons, not much happens at Plakatsmeden. I make and ship the few orders that come in, but have not spent energy or resources on marketing etc. for a long time, which is the reason why you see so little of me, unless your own specific search brings you by.
I would also like to thank you who, on your way, choose to support me and my small business.

I have previously expressed a wish and aired thoughts about expanding with larger machinery that would allow me to produce even larger posters than the current 60x90 cm, and canvas printing has also been on the wish list. Unfortunately, this wish is still just a dream, it is not necessarily unrealistic, but the outlook is long and indefinite.
We must all equip ourselves with patience.

On the other hand, for the last 2-3 years, when an hour here and an hour there has offered, I have had a great interest in Leonardo da Vinci and his works.
So it is with great pleasure that I now present my newest collection of posters at Plakatsmeden, dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci – one of the Renaissance's most versatile and brilliant figures.
Born in 1452 in Anchiano, Italy, Leonardo was not only an exceptional painter, but also a sculptor, architect, engineer, inventor, writer and much more.

My collection includes some of his most iconic works, carefully crafted to highlight the detail and beauty of his art. Each poster is a tribute to Leonardo's ability to unite art and science in a way that continues to inspire us today.

Personally, I have always had a particular fascination with historical anatomical illustrations, and especially skulls and bones, from which one of my own favorites in this collection is Leonardo da Vinci's Study of the Skeleton . This work demonstrates his in-depth understanding of human anatomy and his ability to depict it with a precision that was far ahead of its time.

I hope this collection will bring joy and inspiration to your decor and help remind us all of the timeless beauty and wisdom that Leonardo da Vinci has left us.
