One of the most beautiful maps of Scandinavia ever, with the title: A faithful reproduction of Carta marina, or better known in English: A faithful reproduction of Carta marina.
This beautiful map of the Northern region was originally made in 1572 by the Frenchman Antony Lafreri, who based his work on the slightly older wall map Carta Marina from 1539, which was made by Olaus Magnus.
It is a really nice map with many details and many scenes, among other things you can see working people, hunting animals, sea monsters attacking ships, erupting volcanoes and much more.
