Map of Europe - 1873

A beautiful, simple and well-detailed map of Europe as it looked in 1873. One of the funnier details of the map is that it shows passenger ship routes across the Atlantic, which reminds one that it is an older map, because today airplane routes have taken over everyday travel. In terms of text, it is a very comprehensive map, and the cities are therefore best read on the largest versions, but if you already have a handle on your European geography and therefore have no need to read every single city, then the smaller versions can also easily be a treat for the eyes .
