The Litslebymannen, also known as the Spear God, is one of the most iconic Bronze Age petroglyphs found in Tanum, Sweden. The figure, which measures 2.3 meters, depicts a man with a spear, which has led to interpretations that he represents a god of war, possibly an early version of Odin or Tyr. The figure is one of the last additions to the rock, showing the continuity of ritual use of the area from the Bronze to Iron Ages.
This illustration brings the historical and mythological heritage to life and is perfect for those fascinated by Norse mythology and ancient art.
