unless otherwise mentioned in the product description, frames etc. in the pictures are for decorative purposes only and are therefore not included.
Breddysse, a Neolithic megalithic tomb in West Zealand, hides fascinating petroglyphs from the Bronze Age. Here you will find around 90 bowl signs and two ship figures carved into the large granite cover stone, symbols of the Bronze Age maritime culture and their mythological notions of soul journeys between worlds. Over the millennia, the place has retained its importance, both as a grave and a holy place, with folk traditions linked to the "high people."
My illustration brings together the two ships from Breddysse and includes some of the many bowl signs.
